During the 2026 China International Industry Fair (CIIF) in Shanghai, SATSUKI TRAVEL delivered end-to-end inbound business hospitality for a 27-member South Korean science-and-industry delegation organized by the Gangwon Future Mobility Industry Association and Wonju City Hall.

The delegation — comprising government officials and executives from leading automotive-component and precision-manufacturing firms including HL Mando — arrived in Shanghai on October 13 for CIIF engagements, with a dedicated Shanghai industrial immersion program arranged by SATSUKI TRAVEL on October 12.
Inside China’s robotics front line
The centerpiece of SATSUKI TRAVEL’s curated itinerary was a deep-dive site visit to JAKA Robotics, one of China’s most recognized collaborative robot makers. Korean executives pressed JAKA’s engineering team with wave after wave of questions on flexible automation, auto-parts handling, and production-line integration — a clear signal of strong cross-border technology curiosity. Notably, JAKA already operates an established manufacturing footprint in Nagoya, Japan, making the dialogue around “Chinese cobots entering Japanese-Korean manufacturing ecosystems” a standout theme of the exchange.
The group then visited Xixiang Technology, where its now-viral dual-arm AI coffee robot drew instant attention. Delegates queued to watch the robotic arms grind, extract and latte-art in real time — a photogenic, social-media-friendly moment that quickly became the day’s most shared scene across the group’s own channels.
“This is exactly the bridge product between hard-tech and consumer experience that overseas buyers want to see,” noted SATSUKI TRAVEL’s on-site coordination lead.
Why this matters for inbound industrial tourism
As a Shanghai-based inbound travel operator with deep expertise in MICE, industrial study tours and cross-border business missions, SATSUKI TRAVEL intentionally paired CIIF exhibition access with factory-floor robotics visits — turning a standard trade-show trip into a high-conversion B2B matchmaking loop.
Multiple Korean participants signaled preliminary interest in piloting JAKA cobot lines back home and exploring deployment of smart-terminal formats such as Xixiang-style unmanned service kiosks in Korean transport hubs and industrial parks.
SATSUKI TRAVEL will continue to follow up on the intent list generated from this mission and is opening a regular China AI & robotics inbound program for overseas associations, city delegations and procurement missions visiting Shanghai.
