Prior to the gala, SATSUKI TRAVEL had already established close working ties with MayCham Shanghai and Tourism Malaysia's Shanghai Office, laying the groundwork for concrete bilateral exchange initiatives. In May 2026, the company successfully organized and dispatched an inbound tourist group to Penang, Ipoh, and Kuala Lumpur—a clear demonstration of its solid operational capacity across Malaysia's premier travel destinations.

Consul General, Mr. Abdullah Ma'amor Ibrahim delivered the keynote address, reflecting on 69 years of independence and Malaysia’s growth into a resilient, diversified economy. He highlighted the continued global confidence in Malaysia as a key trade and investment destination. 

During the gala ceremony, the Deputy General Manager of SATSUKI TRAVEL extended congratulations to the newly appointed Consul of the Consulate General of Malaysia in Shanghai. The company also engaged in productive exchanges with representatives from the Malaysian, Singaporean, and Philippine Chambers of Commerce, gaining valuable insights through these face to face dialogues.
